Gary has held a number of senior positions with blue chip companies – including (until recently) Head of Strategy for National Grid’s Metering business unit, where he was a member of the Executive team that set the direction and managed the performance of the business.
Gary brings both in-depth knowledge of metering operations in both the traditional and the Smart worlds together with the Strategic perspective of how value can be created in the Transmission and Distribution businesses.
He is also extremely knowledgeable in the Carbon Capture and Storage arena in which he project managed a key element of a successful bid for €180m funding from the European Commission for a flagship Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project.
Gary has an MBA from Warwick business school and is a PRINCE2 accredited project manager.
